The umbilicus is the body's first lifeline — the original connection that nourishes, sustains, and gives life from the very beginning. We took our name from this remarkable bond because it captures everything we want our work to be.
Umbilicus LLC exists to be a lifeline of care: a steady, dependable connection between people with disabilities and the support, relationships, and opportunities that help them live full lives. We are not a stand-in for family or community — we are the connective tissue that helps both flourish.
